
As a person who enjoys sex, likes sex, would like to continue having a lot of sex, and also has now been pregnant twice and is a mom; that part of my identity, that sexual desire didn’t disappear when I became a mom. It has changed, and sometimes it is enhanced and sometimes it is harder to access. But there is no way that that would just disappear for me.
Maxine Holloway
Maxine Holloway joins us from the second trimester of her second pregnancy to talk about the unique rewards and challenges of being a pregnant sex worker.
Maxine is a sex worker, advocate, event producer, and mama. She is an in-person provider and porn performer specializing in all things MILF. She works for sex worker justice through the ever-intersecting avenues of community organizing, public health, politics, education, media, and art.
She is a co-founder and member of Bay Area Workers Support (BAWS), a peer-led sex worker resource organization. Maxine writes a monthly column for local indie-media publication Broke-Ass Stuart ‘Brain Throbs & Blow Jobs’, where she interviews local providers, strippers, activists, and porn performers. Maxine has a Masters Degree in Public Health and frequently collaborates with health equity and social justice organizations.
